Wedding, one of the most important events in our lives! It is the most beautiful and magical event any of us could experience, but it is also the most stressful. So many choices, to be made, so many things to do, and so much money to be spent! And often times, the money is the thing that stresses us most.
But, a wedding doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive in order to be magical. And it certainly doesn’t mean you have to give up anything. No, if you simply follow these small yet significant steps, you can save a lot while planning your wedding!

1. Buying a dress from a previous collection

We would be lying if we said that the dress is not the center piece of the wedding. It is the first thing guests look at when the bride is walking down the aisle, and that thought alone makes brides anxious when picking the dress. Most brides, in fact, would go overboard in buying a dress, ready to spend a lot of money on it just so that they can make sure they made the right choice.
But, the right choice doesn’t always have to be expensive. And saving money doesn’t have to mean to must give up on our dream designer or bridal shop. No! It simply means we should shop smarter. For instance, the smartest way to buy a dress is to buy it from a previous collection. This way, you will most probably buy a dress that once cost a fortune for half its price.
Another tip for the wedding dress could be: shopping for non bridal dresses. Of your dream dress is a simple yet elegant white dress; odds are that you will be able to find your dream dress between the regular evening gowns.

2. Don’t buy the accessories and shoes from a wedding salon

And while we are still on the topic of the bride’s look, we cannot help but mention the shoes and accessories! It is no secret to ladies that sometimes the right accessories and shoes can often cost half the price of the dress. But that is often due to the fact that we may be looking in the wrong places. While shopping for your accessories and shoes try avoiding the traditional wedding salon, and try opting for regular shops.
You can even try shopping online. There we can often find deals on pieces that would usually cost a fortune in shops.

3. Use season flowers or no flowers at all

The flowers. When we imagine our dream weddings we can already see the white flowers hanging from the ceiling, their strong luring scent hanging in the air. And wedding planners know that, and so to sellers. That is why they price way too much on flowers.
But, just like everything else, there is a smarter option if we find it a must to have flowers at our wedding. We can choose flowers of the season; these flowers tend to be cheaper than and just as beautiful as white roses and lavender.
Or, we can choose a location that does not require much decoration. Like a garden, for instance. This way we can abandon the thought of flowers all together.

4. The cake

While the dress is the main attraction of the ceremony, the cake is the center piece of the reception party. Most couples tend to opt for huge cakes, with various handmade decorations made of sugar and syrup, anything that would wow the guests. But, that is not a must for a spectacular cake!
We can certainly ask for a cake to be ornate with less handmade decorations, decorations that could be replaced with real flowers, probably the same flowers we used for the decoration.

5. Newest location!

While trying the newest location can be scary, it can definitely be advantageous. For instance, new locations often have deals meant to attract the costumers. Deals, that are hard to find in other locations, and that will definitely help you save money while planning your wedding.

6. The same location for both events

Trying the newest location is not the only way we can save money when talking about the place where the event is going to take place. You can also try using the same avenue for both the ceremony and the wedding party.

7. Wedding invitation Vs Wedding website

It’s 2018, and nothing is the way it used to be. And it doesn’t have to be either. It is the generation of technology and why not use that in our benefit even when planning our own wedding?
Instead of ending tens and hundreds of invitations, all stating the same thing, and costing tons of money, you can try building your own website. There you can design it to look just like an invitation, stating all the details regarding your wedding.
It is a chick and smart way that will surely attract attention!

8. Wedding planner

Just like the avenue, you can try collaborating with a wedding planner that is new to the field. Being new, doesn’t necessary mean that he/she will not be good or experienced, but it may mean they are cheaper!
